We want you to get the best of both worlds. It’s unrealistic to tell people to give up sweets, especially with the impending appetite increase as the ice age of a winter approaches. Instead, we have some delicious but healthy alternatives to sugary desserts. Click for recipes!

CINAMMON BAKED APPLES WITH RAISINS

HOMEMADE POPCORN

DRY FRUITS AND NUTS

WHOLE WHEAT BREAD WITH A TEASPOON OF HONEY OR ORGANIC JAM

CEREAL (THAT ISN’T DOUSED IN SUGAR) AND A GLASS OF WARM MILK

PLATE OF COOKED VEGETABLES (SEE LENTIL SOUP BELOW)

TOASTED PIZZA BREAD WITH CHEESE AND TOMATO PASTE

FRESH FRUIT

And here’s our favorite Lentil Soup Recipe:

INGREDIENTS

2 cups of lentils (1/3 cup red and green; 2/3 cups of black)
2 tablespoons of canola oil
1 onion
1 small potato
1 zucchini
3 carrots
1 parsley
2 celery leaves
4 cloves of garlic
Half liter of water
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper

5 – STEP PREPARATION:

Steam the onion in a large saucepan with oil
Add vegetables and then lentils, stir well, add the water and allow it to boil
Cover the pan and lower the heat. Let it simmer for an hour
Add spices, stir and cook slowly for another half an hour
Prepare and serve!
